The females also show this coloration at the lower picture during the gestation. This coloration consists of green basic coloration with orange stripes and spots. But if they see a male, they show the coloration of the upper picture.

The hatching begins.The eggs are incubated at a constant temperature of 28-29 °C without lowering temperatures at night. The substrate was enriched with moderate water. With this incubation method, we have a hatching rate of approx. 95-100%. Usually, the juveniles hatch within one or two days.

The eyes shimmer through the closed eyes after hatching.
